Playground Leaders

The Year Two Playground Leaders have been doing a great job at using their communication skills and leadership skills to help children enjoy playtimes and be more active!

Year One Street ‘Dance Off’ Competition

The Year One children have really enjoyed Street Dance this term. They put on a fantastic performance for the school to watch and it was enjoyed by all! The children had a great time showing off their super dance routine led by our fantastic dance teacher Georgie.

Well done children you were all brilliant!

The children were closely watched by Mrs Stewart and PE Governor Alyson Appleyard, who had the difficult task of choosing a winning class. All of the children were awarded certificates for their excellent attitude, progress and commitment throughout the term. Shark Class were presented with a first place certificate and Turtle Class were presented with a second place certificate.

Celebrating Super Sport Kids!

PE Learning Cafés

As a healthy school, we are very committed to PE and Sport and ensuring that every child takes part in a full curriculum including indoor and outdoor physical education. Children and staff understand the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle and how different activities can affect their fitness and improve their physical development, as well as stamina. We have been enjoying celebrating healthy lifestyles during our PE Learning Cafés.

Shark Class enjoyed demonstrating their super physical skills to their families, during their PE Café with the fantastic Mr Upton. The children had great fun eating some healthy fruit and vegetables with their family, while Mrs Miles talked about the importance of ‘5 A Day’.

Thank you to all of the families who attended.
