Cromer Learning Campus

The Cromer Learning Campus was initiated in 2003 following meetings between the Head-Teachers and Governors of Suffield Park Infant and Nursery School, Cromer Junior School and Cromer High School. The three schools share the same site and in order to make the best provision for the education of all our children, this joint initiative became reality.

Suffield Park Infant, Nursery School and Children’s Centre has 225 pupils between the ages of 4 to 7 years within the main school. It currently has a purpose built Children’s Centre which includes a Nursery (with Day care provision for children from 8 weeks old for 48 weeks of the year), a Learning Support and Assessment class and 6 classes.

Cromer Junior School has 230 pupils aged between 7 and 11. It currently has a Learning Support Centre and 8 classes.

Cromer High School has 581 students aged between 11 and 16. The school is designated a Specialist Language College, which means that languages are at the heart of the whole learning experience.

The site enjoys comprehensive facilities including playing fields, wildlife area, playground areas, playground equipment, floodlit all weather sports facilities and a swimming pool.

The aims of the Cromer Learning Campus are:

  • To enhance the learning opportunities of all involved with the campus
  • To provide continuity and progression in the campus learning community
  • To explore opportunities to increase better value for money
  • To improve the well-being of all involved with the campus
  • To have a strategic approach for education in Cromer
