Pupil Premium

Since April 2011 money has been designated to schools to support children from low income families who are eligible for free school meals.

In 2017/18 Suffield Park and Nursery School has received £56,760 pupil premium money.

Analysis of both the school and Nursery tracking data and information from staff has identified several areas where children receiving free school meals would benefit from extra support. These include:

  • Spelling
  • Comprehension skills
  • Improved oracy within the reception classes
  • Improved mathematics
